Gustav SchoolThe Chairman of the Hunter's Society is a mysterious and massive Eisen noble who goes only by Baron Gustav. Known among insiders as possibly the greatest hunter who has ever lived, Gustav runs his Society and his school with a jovial laugh and an iron fist - litterally. Although many times he hunts bare-handed, he is not adverse to using his fearsome Dracheneisen panzerhand for his larger prey. To say a Gustaven is fierce, cunning, and swift is an understatement. These slayers have stalked their prey so much that it is sometimes impossible to distinguish man from beast. Their lightning quick reflexes and bestial might are what allow them to survive in the wild jungles of Eisen, the frozen tundra of Ussura... and the drunken bars of every port. Gustav is also famous, however, for teaching that an attack must be taken immediately, regardless of the situation. If a clever opponent can avoid this initial assault, he can use the Gustaven's recklessness to his advantage. Country of Origin: Eisen Guild Sanctioned: No. Instead, students gain a free rank in any one of their Swordsman Knacks. Basic Curriculum: Hunter, Wrestling Swordsman Knacks: Corps-a-Corpse, Ambush, Break, Exploit Weakness (Gustaven) (Note: Break and Ambush are considered basic knacks for Gustaven) Apprentice: To allow for a quick and clean kill, apprentice students of Gustav's school are taught both ancient and modern tricks of wilderness subterfuge. Gain a Free Raise on all Stealth and Ambush attempts. Journeyman: Gustaven journeymen have learned to perfect the neck break [Anyone who speaks Eisen care to come up with a nicer name for this?]. For each raise called on a break roll, up to the Gustaven's Brawn, add a Dramatic Wound to the damage dealt. Master: Masters of Gustaven are extremeley swift and efficient hunters. When attacking, add +5k0 to your Grapple roll; subtract half the current phase (round down) in unkept dice from this bonus. Thus, if a Grapple is attempted in phase 3, it would gain +4k0, but if it was held off until phase 10, it would only gain +0k0. Last updated:
